Exhibitors Information
Interested exhibitors should submit an application, the appropriate fee, and 3 photos of their handicrafts by July 1, 2010. Although the deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications at this time. We prefer that one of the photos be of your booth and crafts as you have set them up for a show. All wares must be hand-crafted (i.e., at least 50% of each item) by the exhibitor/applicant. Applications will be juried by the Christmas Market’s Exhibitor Committee, which will mail notifications of acceptance in early August.
Applicants should plan their booth set-up with the following in mind: (1) The 8’ x 8’ and 10” x 12’ spaces abut to one another inside the large white tents that house the booths, so there are no traffic aisles between the booths; (2) The traffic aisle for visitors runs the length of each exhibitor tent in the center, with booths on either side; (3) Wall space for hanging items is not provided, but exhibitors may display goods or signs on their own tables or canopies; (4) The Market provides electricity for lighting, but no electric space heaters are permitted; (5) The Market also provides propane heaters for visitor and exhibitor comfort; ((6) Exhibitors must furnish their own tables and chairs.
The Carlinville Christmas Market Foundation reserves the right to reject handicrafts that do not meet quality standards deemed suitable for the festival. The Foundation also reserves the right to remove any wares deemed objectionable for any reason.
Booth Fees
- $175.00 for 8' x 8' East Tent Only
- $265.00 for 10' x 12' West Tent Only
- $225.00 plus 10% of profits for food booths
