2015 Schedule of Events

Friday, December 4th

TBA Visit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at his house!
1:00-9pm Anderson Mansion/Macoupin County Historical Society Museum Christmas Show, "Flora and Fauna". Come see the house decorated for the holidays. $3 admission for adults, $1 for children under 12. Handmade Christmas Store in the Ruyle Bldg.-baked goods and handcrafted items. Serving meals until 8pm in the red barn.
2:45-3pm Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (N. Side Sq.-Chamber)
3-9pmExhibitor booths open ($2 admission) When you pay admission Friday, you will receive a wristband and if you return Saturday still wearing the wristband, admission for the day is FREE!
3-9pm FREE Carriage rides. Picking up and dropping in front of Refuge Coffee House-East Side of Square
3-5pm Chip Off The Old Block ice carving (square near Gazebo)
4-8pm Santa’s Limo Bus is available for transportation to and from Anderson Mansion. Pick up and drop off will be at the Chamber of Commerce on the hour. The ride is FREE. Provided by Epic Entertainment
4:30-8pm Homemade soup and chili supper (United Methodist Church)
5-8pm Professor Longhair, magician, face painting, balloon animals (Strolling town square & Craft buildings)
6:30-7:30pm Christmas concert in the Gazebo by Keith Abner and Diane Dietz. Diane won Best Female Theater Performance for her role as Mary Poppins at the Legacy Theater in Springfield.
7:30 Macoupin County Heavy Metal Band (tuba ensemble) - concert in the Gazebo
7-8pm Hand Bell Choir (United Methodist Church)

Saturday, December 5th

TBAVisit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at his house (Santa house on square and Mrs. Claus strolling.)
9am7th Annual Mistletoe Mile walk/run, one mile course, sponsored by Fitness A Go Go; start at north side of courthouse. Dress warmly and wear comfortable clothing. Participation prizes. Canceled in case of inclement weather.
9am-8pmExhibitor booths open ($2 admission). Wear wristband from Friday and admission is FREE.
9am-8pm FREE Carriage rides. Picking up and dropping in front of Refuge Coffee House-East Side of Square

10am-12pmChip Off the Old Block ice carving (square near gazebo)
11am Summer Repertory Theatre at Blackburn - singing and strolling
10am-2pmTAILS Adoption Center will be in the empty building next to the Country Gypsy.
10am-7pm Santa’s Limo Bus rides are available for narrated tours and transportation to the Anderson Mansion every hour. Pick up and drop off will be at the Chamber of Commerce on the hour. The ride is FREE. Provided by Epic Entertainment.
11am-12pmFancy Feet Dance Studio Christmas Dance Production at Emmanuel Baptist Church Activity Center. Refreshments will be provided.
11am-2pmHomemade soup and chili lunch (United Methodist Church)
